Jordan is dedicated to providing a counseling process built on a safe, nonjudgmental, and trusting environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. Taking a holistic approach, she strives to understand each individual, their values, and their goals, offering guidance that serves as the guardrails for psychological and emotional growth.

AREAS OF FOCUS

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, who want help with the following:

  • Trauma

  • Relationship issues

  • Family dynamics

  • Life transitions

  • Grief

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Children and their family members who have been survivors of abuse

  • Play therapy for children (3+)

    • Play is often undervalued. It is not just “for fun”, it can also be utilized as a way for children to express themselves and process the world around them. If you find your child may be struggling with self-regulation, screen time obsession, self-esteem, or behavioral issues, play therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool. • Expressive arts and talk therapy for teenagers and adults

MORE ABOUT PLAY THERAPY

Hello Caregivers! Play and play therapy is often misunderstood. Play seems FUN, and while it can be fun, it can also be utilized as a way for children to express themselves and process the world around them. If you find that your child may be struggling with processing a traumatic experience, anxiety, behavioral issues, self-regulation, screen time obsession, self-esteem, attachment issues, or family dynamic changes, play therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool.

You may be wondering why play? Play is children's primary and natural language, and the toys they use are their words. Not only do I have training in play therapy, I also have extensive training in Trauma-Focused CBT. Also, caregivers, please remember to give yourself grace; parenting is HARD and complex. I am here to come alongside you and help.

I would love to hear from you! Whether you have questions, want to learn more, or are ready to take the next step, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am here for you and/or your child along the ride.
